BC Carbon-Tax a Hoax?
While I believe that global warming is real, I am skeptical that it is attributable to human activity, that it may pose a threat to the human race. I strongly believe that there is an attainable solution. I am also against all government intervention regarding this matter. There is, in my view, an under-reporting of scientific findings that do not support the theory of global warming. I personally believe in global climate change. Not disputing even that pollution and blog posts like mine certainly aren’t helping, but are they causing this? The new “carbon tax” implemented by our BC Liberals, confirmed that the notion of man’s complete responsibility for global warming has wrongly been adopted as universal truth here in B.C.
Alternatively, If global warming was a proven fact than why the B.C government does not stop subsidizing big oil and gas companies with taxpayers money? These companies would be the real responsible of global warming. Why do they tax those same taxpayers instead?
” Intoxicated by revenues from oil and gas, BC Liberal MLAs attack anyone who dares question the billion plus dollars in royalty reductions and subsidies British Columbia is giving to fossil fuel companies.”

Now, the thing that I’ve noticed, and I don’t know if you readers have noticed this too, it is common to hear lefties and environmentalists scolding people: “You’ ve got to embrace diversity”. They are often the least receptive to diverse points of view on global warming.
Global warming and climate change in general have become issues for one of the largest political movements of our time. As more focus is placed on global warming, the solutions which are being presented to the world often have nothing to do with what many are saying is the root cause of the problem.
Scientific evidence has emerged, highlighted in the documentary “The Great Global Warming Swindle,” which supports the theory that the sun is in fact a major driving force behind global warming. Other data gathered regarding solar activity shows a clear connection between fluctuations in the sun’s activity and temperature variations on earth. If the sun is in fact the culprit for changes in the earth’s temperature, Miss Taylor carbon-tax, Kevin Washbrook babbling and other solutions we are being given are not cutting to the root cause of climate change.

This has to be one of if not the biggest hoaxes played by a provincial government to garner new taxes.
The premis of a carbon tax to off set “man made” global warming is suspect at the outset. Curbing pollution in the lower mainland would be credible. Taxing a taxpayer in Fort St John is a different story.
But hey, British Columbians are going to get a cheque in the mail. How warm and fuzzy is that? I look forward to receiving my cheque here in California.
These guys (now resting on their new found reputation as greenies) are laughing all the way to their indexed fat government pensions and have a fairly low regard for the intelligence of British Columbians.
Only to be outdone by the fast cat fiasco.

The politics of fear is alive and well! The BC liberals exposed themselves for being globalists flame throwers, promoting both fake global warming junk science. These idiots are obviously being bought by leftist propagandist and outright liars; and thus they have positioned themselves as being exactly like the NDP who are in favor of a big government financed through more taxes. These types of totalitarian elitist should be exposed for being the scum that they really are! The BC liberals promised top act and govern like conservatives despite their name. They lied.

I think that the vast majority of global “warming” alarmists are anti-capitalist and usually against freedom of enterprise and western values. Now I am surprised that a so-called pro business government adopting a leftist tax.
