NO SECOND TRIAL FOR PICKTON.
B.C. Attorney General Wally Oppal Says another long trial would not be in the public interest … ” because the women who were allegedly slaughtered by Pickton were just whores from the downtown eastside. Their lives count for nothing.”
“The B.C. government will not try Robert Pickton for the deaths of 20 women if the serial killer’s appeal on six second-degree murder convictions is denied.
B.C. Attorney General Wally Oppal made the announcement Tuesday at the B.C. legislature in Victoria, saying another long trial would not be in the public interest.
But that decision has enraged the families of some of Pickton’s alleged victims.”
“…it’s not in the public interest to proceed, Oppal said.”
I wonder if it would have “been in the public interest” if Pickton would have slaughtered rich women from Point Grey or West Vancouver?
