Machines ‘to Assimilate Man by 2029′ - Resistance is Futile

Expert say: Cybernetic implants to become a reality in 2029.


The nanoprobes are fictional technological devices from the Star Trek TV series, most commonly used by the race known as the Borg. These nanoprobes are microscopic machines that inhabit a Borg’s body, bloodstream, and many cybernetic implants and might become a reality in 2029 according to Ray Kurzweil U. S leading inventor and engineer.

Kurzweil believes that machines and humans will eventually merge through devices implanted in the body to boost intelligence and health just like the borgs in Star Trek. [BBC]
