For those who did not know it yet scientist have found “hobbit” fossils. Some scientists think the “hobbit” or Homo floresiensis is its own species while some other think that hobbits were human or homo sapiens just like us but were afflicted with some disease making them smaller just like in The Lord of The Ring.

“The discoverers and many other scientists think the so-called “hobbit” is its own species, Homo floresiensis. The bones, they say, resemble species much older than our own. Yet the Flores individuals lived as recently as 12,000 years ago, long after Neanderthals had perished in Europe.
