Hello people! I hope I’m not bothering you. I’m just realizing that I’m a rookie when it comes to writing. That’s because I am reading a pro while I’m writing this post.

I am reading a book titled The Road by Cormac McCarthy. He’s the author of No Country For Old Men. You probably did not know that McCarthy was trendy during the early 90ies within intellectual circles. That was due to his hoity-toity books that were supposed to be influenced by Poe and also by Hawthorne mysticism. I did not like McCarthy then!

Some friends came to visit last weekend and they brought me “The Road”, I was not expecting anything. What a surprise! A masterpiece!
