Paper email is a funny way to pass messages at work. That’s because it will amusingly confuse the recipient.

I think that April Fool’s Day is an appropriate time to post a word or two about Todd Robbins’ last book “The Modern Con Man.” The author narrates the astounding audacity of George Parker as he ripped off countless numbers of residents and tourists - “selling” them city landmarks over and over again.
In fact, Parker was one of the most notorious con men in U.S history. He sold the Brooklyn Bridge, twice a week for years, convincing his “prospects” that they could become rich by charging a fee to access the roadway.

Filled with humorous facts and tables, a glossary of con terms, illustrations, the history of the con, and easy-to-follow swindles, this is the perfect gift for the hidden flim-flam artist in your life.” link

I usually don’t write much about games in this blog, but I remember years ago, all the hours of fun playing at video games. One of my favorite video game was of course, Donkey Kong, where I got acquainted with Mario.
The release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be remembered as the first cross generation videogame. A game that bridges the generation gap as my title eloquently suggests. As most of you already know, Super Smash Bros Brawl is a crossover fighting game published by Nintendo for the Wii console. As the third installment of the Super Smash Bros. series, this title once again features a diverse roster of characters from Nintendo and its second parties to fight in various kinds of matches
Besides feeding players’ nostalgia and allowing fights that defies the law of gravity, the game has an option where you can play online against other players or another option allowing you to fight against various characters while following a story created by Kazushige Nojima, known for his work in Final Fantasy.
The game comes with a load of new features. link

While the world is going crazy trying to fight global warming—perhaps we should stop and take a look at all the global cooling that is going on. Sure, one of the most brutally cold winters on record globally (yup, this one) doesn’t mean the ice age is coming—but if your enviro crazy friends can cry every time there is a mild winter day, then you can do the same (in reverse). Enjoy driving your green friends mad by forwarding along this National Post story on global cooling : “Lorne Gunter: Welcome to the new ice age“. The english edition of Der Spiegel brings our attention on the French organization Unef’s ad that uses sex to advocate for student housing.
“Students in France have long had a hard time finding a place to live. A campaign by the student union called attention to their plight using posters depicting a couple having sex in the parents’ bed. And it may have worked.
Maman, Papa. Could you move over?
One has to feel bad for the situation French university students find themselves in. A year ago, they staged huge protests against a new law making it easier for employers to fire young people. And this year, they had to resort to a scandalous poster campaign just to convince the government to put a roof over their heads.”
